Couch to 5k Running Group
Couch to 5K (or C25K) is a programme that aims to get you comfortably running 5K. It works by gradually increasing the distance you run over the course of nine weeks, at your own speed.
Harborough district sport alliance are launching a new couch to 5K running group.
Couch to 5K is a running plan for absolute beginners, where we run at the pace of the slowest person. It was developed by a runner, who wanted to help his 50-something mum get off the couch and start running too.
This 9 week plan involves 3 runs a week, with a day of rest in between, and a different schedule for each of the 9 weeks.
