James and Andrew Lawtie

Another lovely nomination:

"Andrew, works at the LRI in Leicester; he worked all the way through the first lockdown and continues to work through second lockdown. The NHS are the admiration of the world and deserve everyone's support in these difficult times. During the initial lockdown Andrew's son James, came up with the challenge of cycling around Little Bowden Park in Market Harborough. Andrew decided that he couldn't let James do this alone so the two of them cycled 100 laps of the park raising funds for the NHS. Such a worthy cause in these days on unprecedented uncertainty. Their initial target was £100, however, they managed to raise much more. A fantastic idea and what an achievement for James and Andrew. You are both an inspiration to all. Thank you for what you are doing, stay safe #staysafe @NHSheroes"

Andrew is also a coach at Borough Alliance Football Club - coaching the U8s BAFC Orcas

Well done James and Andrew!
