Steady Steps: Falls Management Programme
What is it?
A 24 week exercise programme designed to help individuals increase their strength and balance and therefore reduces the likelihood of falling.
The programme is a self-referral.
The 24 week programme includes:
- Tailored seated and standing exercises
- Floor exercises (if appropriate)
- Strength exercises using bands, balls, light weights and techniques for getting down and up from the floor
How much does it cost?
Depending on the available courses, sessions will be £2.50 per session or free. Please contact the Co-ordinator for more details.
